As a PLA practitioner, you are performing a valuable service for your students: awarding them college credits for their work experience. Thus, many colleges now offer Life Experience Degrees, having developed Prior Learning Programs to properly assess people who have the knowledge required for a university degree, but were unable to complete their education until now.
